Senior Transport Engineer/ Planner (5+ year experience)
We are seeking a self-motivated and highly skilled transport planner/engineer to work with multi-disciplinary teams for a variety of public and private sector projects.
Previous experience of road, rail, public transport, cycle, urban design, development appraisal and traffic management desirable to lead a number of high profile studies in Ireland and in support of planed new development. Experienced candidates should have 5 to 10 years experience, including transport planning input to major new development projects and/or multi-modal experience.
Sound knowledge of urban traffic management and traffic modelling techniques with good analytical and report writing skills are essential. The position will include constant liaison with clients, so strong organisational and interpersonal skills are required to work on a variety of major development projects throughout the country.
Experience in undertaking accident investigation, accident assessment and accreditation as a Roads Safety Auditor or RSA Team Leader an advantage.
Graduate/Assistant Transportation Planner/Engineer/Technician
Sound knowledge or interest in all aspects of urban traffic management, transport planning and assessment techniques with good analytical skills are desirable. The position will include data collection, analysis and report preparation. Good communication and interpersonal skill and an ability to co-ordination with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies essential.
